These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants and attendees of Sabre Races events organised by Samantha Walker and Stephanie Kemp in Eastbourne, England.
By registering for or attending a Sabre Races event, you agree to the following terms.
1. Eligibility
Sabre Races events are open to adult females aged 18 and over only.
By registering, participants confirm that:

they are at least 18 years old
-
all information provided during registration is accurate
-
they are physically able to participate in the event
2. Registration
& Payment
A participant’s place is not confirmed until payment has been received in full.
Following registration, participants will receive a Stripe payment link or invoice via email.
Sabre Races reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations where necessary.
Payments are processed securely using Stripe.
3. Refunds & Transfers
All event entries are non-refundable.
If a participant can no longer attend, they may transfer their place to another eligible participant by contacting the organisers before the event.
Participants are responsible for ensuring replacement participant details are provided accurately.
4. Event Changes & Cancellation
Sabre Races reserves the right to:

amend event timings
-
adjust workouts, challenges or event formats
-
alter locations or schedules where reasonably necessary
The event will run in most weather conditions, including rain.
The event will only be cancelled or postponed where conditions are considered unsafe or dangerous.
If the event is cancelled for safety reasons or circumstances beyond the organisers’ control, Sabre Races will communicate available options to participants as soon as reasonably possible.
5. Health & Safety
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to take part.
By participating, you acknowledge that fitness events involve physical exertion and carry inherent risks including injury, illness or accidents.
Participants must:

follow all instructions given by organisers, staff and marshals
-
behave respectfully towards others
-
wear suitable clothing and footwear
-
take reasonable care of their own health and safety
Participants are encouraged to bring their own water, snacks and fuel for the event.
Refreshments may be available on site, but availability is not guaranteed.
Participants in Switch Up will be allocated a base area during the competition. Personal items left in these areas must not obstruct other participants. Bags are not permitted within competition areas.
6. Removal From The Event
Sabre Races reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any participant or spectator whose behaviour is considered:

unsafe
-
aggressive
-
disruptive
-
abusive
-
intoxicated
-
in breach of these Terms & Conditions
No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.
7. Assumption Of Risk
By attending and participating in Sabre Races, participants acknowledge and accept that:
-
participation is voluntary
-
physical exercise carries inherent risks
-
they participate at their own risk
Participants agree that the organisers will not be held responsible for injuries, losses or damages except where liability cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Emergency Medical Treatment
Participants consent to receiving emergency first aid or medical treatment if considered necessary during the event.
9. Photography & Video
Photography and video recording may take place during Sabre Races events.
Content may be used for:

social media
-
promotional materials
-
future event marketing
-
website content
Sabre Races will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests from participants who do not wish to appear in promotional content. Requests should be made to the organisers before or during the event where possible.
10. Spectators
Spectators attend at their own risk and must follow any instructions provided by event staff or venue representatives.
Children attending as spectators must remain supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
11. Personal Property
Participants and spectators are responsible for their own belongings.
Sabre Races accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged property.
12. Privacy
Participant information is handled in accordance with the Sabre Races Privacy Policy.
By registering for the event, participants confirm they have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
