Sabre Storm Fitness Event - Participant Waiver and Release of Liability
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCEPTING
By registering for and participating in the Sabre Storm Fitness Event (“the Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participating in a physical fitness event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: strenuous physical activity, obstacles, varying terrain, weather conditions, personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and even death. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks associated with my participation in the Event.
2. Fitness to Participate
I confirm that I am physically fit and capable of safely participating in the Event. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a medical professional regarding any concerns or conditions that may affect my ability to participate.
3. Medical Treatment
In the event of an injury, accident, or illness, I consent to receive any necessary medical treatment deemed advisable during the Event. I agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment.
4. Release and Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the organisers of the Sabre Storm Fitness Event, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, agents, and venue owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained by me in connection with the Event.
5. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organisers and associated parties from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including legal fees, arising from my participation in the Event.
6. Media Consent
I grant permission for the organisers to use photographs, video recordings, and any other media likeness of me from the Event for promotional, marketing, or any other legitimate purposes without compensation or further approval.
7. Legal Age and Authority
I confirm that I am aged 18 years or older.
